In the autumn of 2012 I worked with a group of experienced tapestry weavers in Cork, Ireland, taking some of the Sand Journeys tapestries as part of my teaching materials. I invited members of the group to participate in the 2012/13 challenge alongside the groups from Denmark and the UK.
